Robert F. Spoerry, member of the Board of Directors of Schaffner Holding AG since the company’s going public in 1998, has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sonova Holding AG. As a result, he is stepping down from the Board of Directors of Schaffner Holding AG with immediate effect.A search will get underway in the coming months for a suitable successor for election at the 16th Annual General Meeting on January 12, 2012, who as fifth member will return the Board to its full composition.In the meantime, the Board of Directors of Schaffner Holding AG will comprise the Chairman Daniel Hirschi and members Herbert Bächler, Hans Hess and Markus Zenhäusern.
The Board of Directors and Group Management regret the decision and thank Robert F. Spoerry for his valuable contribution to the Schaffner Group.
