The Schaffner Group has appointed Günther Werkmeister as Head of the Automotive division with effect from 1 January 2014. Günther Werkmeister takes over from Chief Executive Officer Alexander Hagemann, who has been responsible for the division on an interim basis since 9 November 2012. No changes have been made to the Group Executive Board of the Schaffner Group: the members of the Group Executive Committee, which is chaired by Alexander Hagemann, remain Chief Financial Officer Kurt Ledermann, Chief Operating Officer Ah Be Goh and the two Executive Vice Presidents Eduard Hadorn and Guido Schlegelmilch. Günther Werkmeister is ideally positioned to take over responsibility for the Automotive division at the beginning of 2014, having spent the past few months obtaining an in-depth understanding of the division on a consultative basis.
